#SaveBeforYouSplurge | Stylish Monsoon-Appropriate Sandals Made of Polymer

Let's be practical! We don't need those high heels to walk in when it's pouring cats and dogs outside. For that, we need some gum boots or season appropriate footwear. And, here is one that we tried recently...

Who doesn't love monsoons but with it comes dirt, mud and freshly pedicured feet go to dregs! But I have geared up for monsoons by getting myself gum shoes, not gum boots.

A Little History Behind Wearing Gum Boots Before We Move-On to Stylish Pair-

Gum boots have been selling like hot potatoes these days. They were once worn by paddy field farmers to protect their feet from excess water and snakes residing in the water. Rice was cultivated in fields where water is logged for long and snakes make a perfect ambush.

Hence these plastic type shoes used to protect the farmers both from water and vipers. But the problem with gum boots is that they can't be adorned with Indian attires like Salwar Kameez and kurtas. Here comes the gum shoes/sandals in the picture.

They are Crocs look alike but way cheaper than these. So, if you are looking for a pocket-friendly option these are one of the options available at your disposal.
Turquoise hue with understated purple and pink splatters all-over makes them girly and wearable.

They are made up of some polymer similar to plastic which is also a sturdy material with perforations on top to allow moisture evaporate and let the skin breathe. They can be worn easily on any Indian outfit as well as western casuals.
So, if you too looking for a footwear apt for monsoons, do check out these or similar sandals before you splurge.

I got these from @shopping _abode, an Instagram shop for 750 INR.
